VariEze N23CE...
In 1975 I read an article and saw a picture of an experimental airplane called
the VariEze. It was something I had never seen before and I could not get it out
of my mind. A plane that you could build yourself, carry two people, take the
wings off and trailer home and put in your garage. That was not all - it was a
"pusher" (the prop was in the back) but what was even better than that was it's
looks and it could fly at 200 miles per hour and go 700-900 miles on one
fill-up! The guy who designed, built and made plans for others to build the
VariEze is Burt Rutan.
